Editorial May 2001

Atul Dev - Editor The May and June 2001 issues of Air Sports International have been made into World Air Games Special issues.

We have tried to focus on the information needed by the visitor or spectator who may want to witness the Games. We thus give the dates, timings and venue of each air sport being conducted apart from the other general interest information.

The Special is in two parts. In the May 2001 issue we have given details regarding Ballooning, Paragliding, Hang Gliding and Gliding.

In June 2001 issue we will cover the remaining air sports.

While every effort has been made to give accurate information, all information given has been based on the official bulletins, the organisers may need to carry out changes due to circumstances entirely beyond their control. We will try and reflect these changes as and when we are informed.

We have deliberately not gone into any administrative or travel related details as that is beyond the scope of our editorial profile. However, it would be our best effort to respond to any specific queries any of our readers may ask. We will try and come up with as much information as we can get and pass it on to you.

I trust readers will find this information useful in planning their visit to Spain to witness the world's biggest get together of air sports activities, once every four years.

Happy Reading !
